As part of this year’s Village Festival, Wargrave Tennis Club are hosting a “Go for Gold Tennis Open Day” on Sunday 23rd June from 2pm to 5pm. The day will include free coaching and a wide range of tennis activities for all ages and abilities. We are also running a Pickleball Tennis Tournament that will start at 3pm. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America; it’s easy to learn for beginners but can also develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for more advanced players. The open day costs £5 for adults and £2.50 for kids, but this includes a soft-drink and a free burger, plus balls and equipment. For more details, look out for posters around the village.
