Club Overview

Welcome to Wargrave Tennis Club, a friendly club that promotes competitive and social tennis for all ages and abilities.

We offer some of the best playing facilities in Berkshire, attracting members from surrounding areas in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire such as Twyford, Henley, Maidenhead, Reading, Woodley, Sonning, Hurst, Charvil and beyond.

We have 8 courts, 6 with a high-quality hard surface and 2 with all-weather artificial clay that we installed in 2024. We have plans for 2 more artificial clay courts plus one PADEL court in 2025. We offer pickleball with up to 4 courts and all our courts benefit from competition level LED floodlighting that was installed in 2022.

We run five weekly social tennis sessions, two weekly pickleball groups, plus a very busy singles box league. We have 20 teams in the Berkshire Leagues plus coach led team training every Wednesday. We have over 140 juniors members with holiday camps and coaching for all levels.

20 Teams in LTA County Leagues
Over 60 adult members play for our teams.

Trials and practice sessions are held on Wednesday evenings.
Competitive Singles Box Leagues
We currently run six singles box leagues.

Leagues run for 5-6 weeks with promotion for the top two players.
Social Club Sessions
Five Weekly social club tennis sessions open to all standards.

We also offer weekly Pickleball sessions and tournaments throughout the year.
Great Coaching for All Standards
Our coaching program is run by Ollie Brown.

Private lessons, group coaching and holiday camps.
Thriving Junior Tennis
We have over 140 junior members.

Fun weekly junior club nights and great coaching.
Fantastic Court Facilities
Two artificial clay, six hard courts and two pickleball courts.

Wargrave Tennis Club has a wide catchment area and attracts players, of all ages and abilities, from across the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and beyond!  Our Club is growing with over 340 members, and in our latest annual survey, 97% of our members said they would recommend the Club to a friend. Here is what some of our members have to say about us!
