In December, we were delighted to welcome Barney Roberts as our record-breaking 500th member and our 180th junior member. At the end of December, our total membership reached 505, with 204 new members joining us in 2025 alone. This represents an increase of over 50% compared to 2024.
The increase in membership is reflected by the excellent results from our latest club survey, which showed membership satisfaction rising to 98%. Members expressed appreciation for the Club’s friendly atmosphere, and 96% liked our improved facilities, including padel and the new clay tennis courts installed in 2025. Despite this significant growth, the Club committee still believes there is room for a few more members, based on our court usage data and comparisons of our court-to-member ratios with those of other leading clubs.
