We are delighted to announce that our plans for a second padel court and a clubhouse extension have now been officially approved by both Wokingham Borough Council and Wargrave Parish Council. This follows a March EGM vote in which 97% of members supported the second padel court, and support from 85% of members to both elements of the plan at our AGM last year.
With this overwhelming approval, we are now working to have the new padel court installed and ready for use by the start of June, with work on the clubhouse commencing later in the summer. The padel courts at Wargrave are available for members to book from just £10 an hour (£2.50 per player), compared to the £40 to £60 charged by commercial padel court operators.
