Many congratulations to our Men’s and Ladies teams for some fantastic results in the 2024/25 Berkshire Winter League. In their final match, our Men’s first team followed up on a win over Maidenhead 1sts, with a win against league leaders, Windsor. Overall they narrowly missed out on winning the League but this is our best performance for many years, with all of Wargrave’s mens teams competing with the very best clubs in Berkshire.
Our ladies’ teams are also doing incredibly well. With one match remaining, our top team is in an excellent position to win Division 2. Like the men’s team, they beat Windsor in their final match. The other ladies’ teams have had some great results as well, with the third team currently top of division 5.
All the teams’ full results and standings can now be viewed via the new “Results Page” on our website. In the last 12 months, over 70 members have played for our teams, with ladies and men’s team practice sessions held every wednesday evening.
