Wargrave Tennis Club have recently launched a new “pickleball only” membership package for adults who just want to play this fast growing game. Priced at £128 for a full year (and £75 for the remainder of our current season), the package provides pickleball only members with access to two courts, and a further two pop-up courts. All four courts come with free LED floodlighting, and with bats and balls provided by the Club.
From Monday 30th September, we will be running weekly Pickleball Club Sessions from 7pm to 9pm that will be organised by Roger Whiteside, our new Pickleball Coordinator. Pickleball players can also book courts at other times using our 14 day advanced booking system.
The package includes free entry to Club pickleball tournaments and PBO members can upgrade to a full tennis membership at any time during the year (for the difference in the cost of a PBO membership and the price of a tennis membership).
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for more advanced players.
