Congratulations to Team Santa on their victory over Team Rudolf in our fourth annual Bobble Hat Tennis, Padel and Pickleball Tournament, held on 28th December. Despite the cold wind, a total of 24 members braved the elements to compete in three rounds, with each pair playing all three racket formats.
In the six “head-to-head” matches, the overall team scores were level, but Team Santa were first to enjoy the mince pies and the mulled wine in the clubhouse, winning the overall competition 103 games to 96.
The Bobble Hat Tennis Club is one of several inter club tournaments that we run every year, which includes our highly competitive Club Summer Tournament with finals day in September, plus our ongoing box leagues and ladder for tennis and padel.
As a Club, we encourage competitive and social play for all ages and abilities, and we believe that we currently have the best and most affordable facilities in Berkshire for tennis, padel and pickleball. All of our courts have high-quality LED floodlighting, and we have exciting plans for a second padel court and a bigger clubhouse in 2026.
