Wargrave Tennis Club hosted 15 members of the Wargrave Cubs (and their parent helpers) for an evening of pickleball tennis. The cubs certainly had fun, with lots of noise on court, as they
all learnt the core skills of this popular short tennis format.
The session was organised by Wargrave Tennis Club Chair, Michael Simpson and the clubs’s Pickleball Coordinator, Roger Whiteside.
Pickleball is America’s fastest growing sport. It’s easy to learn for beginners but can evolve into a highly competitive game for more advanced players. We currently run pickleball sessions for adult members on a Monday evening and Thursday morning with play on up to 4 courts.
