We were delighted to welcome 16 enthusiastic Wargrave Beavers last week for a fun-filled evening of pickleball and padel at the club. Splitting into four groups, the eager Beavers quickly got to grips with the basics, learning key shots and enjoying these fast-growing, sociable short-tennis formats.
Since introducing padel and pickleball at Wargrave in 2025, these exciting additions have played a big part in growing our membership to over 500. We now offer three pickleball courts that are free for members, and a dedicated padel court that can be booked by members from just £10 per hour.
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to be planning a second padel court, due to open from June, as we continue to expand opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to get involved.
